Residing in two different continents, N+A traveled all the way to Florence, Italy to celebrate and join together as husband and wife. I've known Noof since we were 12 and documenting their big day was indeed a great pleasure for me. After all, I never would have thought that, of all the places in the world, they would be celebrating their wedding in one of my favorite cities.
It was a small, intimate gathering with a touch of meticulous elegance set against the Renaissance backdrop of Castello del Trebbio. The Tuscan landscape is dominated by vast fields of olive trees, vineyards and centuries-old villas and it might as well be the perfect textbook example of the "Italy" that we all have in mind. While some of these clichés prove to be true, it certainly is a romantic place to exchange vows.
Although the wedding wasn't until Sunday, we already arrived on Thursday to spend a loooong weekend. Flying from Zurich, the weather didn't seem promising since it was raining so hard, the plane couldn't even take off. All the luggage were pulled out of the plane compartment, causing delay and uproar among passengers. In the end, we landed in Florence empty handed and had to report the "lost" baggage at the airport. Despite all the setbacks traveling to Tuscany, we finally made it and became part to witness and experience this unforgettable event.
